Singapore Government Scholarship 2024

The Singapore Government Scholarship 2024 (SGS) is an award scheme funded by the Singapore government to support Ph.D., Master, and leading master’s studies in Singapore and overseas universities by Singapore citizens or permanent residents, who are selected by their respective institutions based on academic excellence and demonstrated leadership potential. Up to 950 scholarships are awarded each year to help more undergraduates and higher education graduates pursue their studies at local and overseas institutions.

The Singapore Government Scholarship 2024 (SGS) aims to attract and retain top students from around the world to pursue undergraduate or master’s degrees in Singapore, under the direction of the Ministry of Education (MOE). But the SGS makes full scholarships available for international students, who are accepted at government-funded institutions (FFIs), to pursue full-time tertiary education in Singapore.

For Singaporean citizens, obtaining the Singapore Government Scholarship 2024 (SGS) is one of the most important things to consider when pursuing further studies abroad. This scholarship aims to support high-achieving students who want to pursue undergraduate or master’s degrees in overseas universities and other reputable institutions of higher learning that have been accredited by their national governments and/or international accreditation bodies, as well as those who have applied to study in courses that are not taught locally. The SGS can be used to finance all tuition fees, maintenance expenses, and even airfare up to $10,000 per annum. You may also apply: Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarship 2024: Fully Funded.
